Monday Morning Update is where we share the latest news from the industry and we also have a central theme which we cover in more details in each episode.
In this first Monday Morning Update we will talk about the new Chinese airplane - the COMAC C919. This is the model that will compete directly against the Boeing B737 MAX and the Airbus A320neo. China Eastern Airlines is the launch customer and will get the first airplane later in 2021. We will talk to Björn Lundström who have been a pilot i SAS for 36 years and he shares his view on what it takes to bring a brand new airplane type in to an airline - all seen from the pilots points of view.
